lua, what are you up to these days?

at 21 months  Lua is...

counting to ten!

singing her abc's

starting to use two and three word sentences

loving Monsters (dragons, Monsters inc., Where the Wild Things Are)

hiding

climbing on EVERYTHING, including dada and mama

drawing (can draw a very good circle and 3/4 of the letter A)

pushing, pulling and dragging her shopping cart up stairs

scared to death of cars in the street and strangers (what is up with that?!)

I wish we all lived closer!

A few weeks ago, Lua's cousin Eloise came to town!  Here are some pictures from their visit.

Even though I had to work some of the time, it was so so so nice to have Anthony and Leslie and Eloise here for a whole week.  (almost) Two year olds are a handful - both physically and emotionally - and it was a big comfort to share that with family.  Now, more than ever, I wish we lived a bit closer to the rest of our kin!
